Carisk Partners is pleased to announce the strategic addition of several talented professionals to its growing team. These appointments come at an opportune time for Carisk, furthering the company’s ability to drive results across its growing portfolio of products and services. 

The new team members bring a diverse range of expertise and experience, enhancing Carisk’s innovative solutions for its client partners and patients:

Carisk Outcomes:

Natasha Charleston is a Behavioral Health Specialist who brings over 15 years of experience in substance use counseling, vocational rehabilitation, and catastrophic case management. Natasha is a trained Crisis Counseling Professional, Critical Incident Stress Management expert, Trauma Therapist, and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor who specializes in supporting patients dealing with the emotional effects of their workplace injuries. In her role, Natasha will be reporting to David Vittoria, Carisk’s Chief Behavioral Health Officer and will be responsible for furthering the behavioral health focus in the Pathways™ 2 Recovery service model.  Prior to joining Carisk, Natasha worked for Genex Services.

Pamela Dubis joins Carisk as a Care Coordinator for the Carisk Outcomes division, reporting to Amanda Dennison, Manager of Clinical Operations.  Pamela is a nurse with extensive case management and rehabilitation experience.  Prior to joining Carisk, Pamela worked as an RN Field Case Manager for Paradigm, Concentra, and Corvel.

Angela Gengler joins Carisk as a Clinical Quality Nurse, reporting to Patricia DeFrancisco, Clinical Quality Nurse. She is a Registered Nurse and a Certified Case Manager who most recently worked as a Clinical Quality Reviewer for Genex.  In her role, Angela will be responsible for QA of reporting and coordination with the Outcomes Clinical Team, tracking contracted patient cases including outcomes and performing critical clinical analysis of patient cases risks and barriers. 

Daniela Gordon is joining Carisk as a Care Coordinator Assistant, reporting to Kevin Glennon, the Manager of Care Coordination. Most recently, Daniela worked as a Public Health Investigator and before that, as a Case Manager.  Daniela’s role at Carisk includes procurement of all medical bills and records for the Outcomes division, submission of referrals, and sourcing requests.

Brian Hebert  is a Registered Nurse with extensive workers’ compensation experience.  Brian has joined Carisk as Vice President of Clinical Operations and Quality Management reporting to Dr. Alana Letourneau, Chief Clinical Strategy Officer.  In his role, Brian will be responsible for overseeing clinical services in the Carisk Outcomes division. Brian brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry.  Prior to joining Carisk, Brian worked for Paradigm Outcomes and Liberty Mutual Insurance.

Joanne Lipinski Long, BSN, RN, MEd, MBA joins Carisk as a Care Coordinator in the Outcomes division reporting to Soirene Delgado, Manager of Care Coordination. Joanne is a nurse with over 30 years of experience specializing in critical, trauma and emergency care.  Prior to joining Carisk, Joanne worked for Genex Services as a Field Case Manager.  Joanne is also a professional educator for critical and emergency care curriculum, directing ACLS, PALS, and BLS programs. 

Manuel Muniz Ortiz, RN, BSN, WCCM is a dedicated nurse who joined Carisk as a Care Coordinator in the Outcomes division reporting to Soirene Delgado, Manager of Clinical Operations.  Prior to joining Carisk, Manuel spent time as an RN Field Case Manager working mostly with the Hispanic population as well as dedicated time as an Infection Control Specialist and COVID-19 Manager with the Maryland Health Department.  Prior to that, Manuel worked as a Research Coordinator with the Brain Imaging Lab enrolling patients as part of research studies. 

Farah Sabr has joined Carisk as a Care Coordinator for the Carisk Outcomes division reporting to Amanda Dennison, Manager of Clinical Operations.  Farah is a nurse with extensive case management and post-acute rehabilitation experience.  Prior to joining Carisk, Farah worked for Mitchell International as a nurse Case Manager and Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation and Nursing as a Unit Manager. 

Dan Sheehy has joined Carisk as Vice President of Sales responsible for driving revenue for Carisk’s Specialty Risk Transfer product.  Bringing more than 25 years of experience in the workers’ compensation industry, Dan will be reporting to Tom Downey, Carisk’s Executive Vice President of Sales. Prior to joining Carisk Dan worked for Genex, Coventry and AIG.

Dayna Timmins joins Carisk as a Care Coordinator for the Outcomes division reporting to Amanda Dennison, Manager of Clinical Operations.  Dayna brings 20 years of experience as a workers’ compensation medical case manager.  Dayna is a Certified Case manager, Certified Workers’ Compensation Case Manager, and a Certified Life Care Planner. In her role with Carisk, Dayna is responsible for the patient assessment and coordination of care as a critical component of the Pathways™ 2 Recovery Service Model. 

Carisk Intelligent Clearinghouse:

Grace Gargiulo joins the Carisk Intelligent Clearinghouse Team as Sales Executive reporting to Sally Balioni, the Vice President of CiC Sales.  Grace is a recent graduate of Franklin and Marshall College, where she majored in Business, Organization and Society.  Grace has interned with Carisk since 2021 and in her new role with Carisk will be responsible for Provider recruitment.

Anne Lepre joins the Carisk Intelligent Clearinghouse Team as Sales Executive reporting to Sally Balioni, the Vice President of CiC Sales.  Prior to joining Carisk, Anne held various sales positions. At Carisk, she is responsible for Workers’ Compensation and Auto provider recruitment.

Jennifer Suarez joins Carisk as a Carisk Intelligent Clearinghouse Operations Administrator reporting to Vincenia Annuzzi, the CiC Implementation Director.   Prior to joining Carisk, Jennifer had extensive experience as a Medical Biller and in various administrative positions in medical practices.  In her role at Carisk, Jennifer will be responsible for supporting the Carisk Intelligent Clearinghouse help desk and supporting the operational and administrative tasks related to claims processing. 

Marketing:

Sydney Berardo is joining Carisk as an Associate Product Manager, reporting to Chrissy Gaul, the Senior Vice President of Marketing. Sydney recently graduated from Penn State University majoring in Marketing and minoring in International Business.  Sydney has been an intern with Carisk since 2020 where she worked for both the Carisk Imaging and Marketing teams.  Sydney is learning graphic design and will be supporting the development and execution of brand creative. 

Lauren Hickey is joining Carisk as Associate Product Manager, reporting to Chrissy Gaul, the Senior Vice President of Marketing. Lauren recently graduated from Providence College with a degree in Marketing.  Lauren has been a Marketing intern with Carisk since 2020 and as a full-time employee will be responsible for product management, conferences, special events, and will assist in public relations and digital marketing.     

Katherine Marabeti joined Carisk as an Associate Product Manager, reporting to Chrissy Gaul, Senior Vice President of Marketing. Prior to joining the Marketing team, Kat worked as an Intern for the Carisk Intelligent Clearinghouse (CiC) Sales Team focused on provider recruitment.  In 2022, Kat graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Health Services Administration.  In her new role with Carisk, Kat leads Carisk Imaging and CiC product promotions and is responsible for Carisk’s marketing, and marketing operations. 

Information Technology:

Danisbel Rojas Rios joined Carisk as a Software Engineer reporting to Humberto Moya, the Vice President of Information Technology.  Danisbel holds a degree from the University of Informatics Science and has vast experience as a Web developer, last working at a software development company.  In his role at Carisk, Danisbel is responsible for supporting Carisk’s DCF FASAMS application for new Managing Entities, providing programming specifications and performing comprehensive testing to ensure functionality, scalability and robustness of Carisk applications.

Operations:

Grant Berardo joined Carisk as a Junior Business Analyst reporting to Matt Sexton, Manager of Business Analytics. Grant worked for Carisk as an Intern while in high school and college, and recently graduated from the University of South Carolina as an Accounting major and a concentration in business analytics. 

Madison Berardo is joining Carisk as a Regional Client Manager, Client Strategies reporting to Tyisha Torres, the Vice President of Account Management.  Prior to joining Carisk, Madison was a Senior Client Manager at Cigna.  Madison interned with Carisk in 2019 prior to her graduation from University of Florida where she was a Journalism and Communications Major.  Following graduation, Madison completed Aetna’s E.E. Cammack Group School Program and transitioned to a Client Manager role at Cigna.  In her new role at Carisk, Madison will be responsible for client relations for large group accounts in the Northeast Region.

Sophia DiEduardo joins Carisk as a Claims Coordinator reporting to Rose Nelson, the Claims Supervisor.  Before being hired, Sophia worked at Carisk as a temporary employee.  In her role, Sophia is responsible for entry, submission, and processing of auto and workers’ compensation insurance claims.

Madisson Saucedo joins Carisk as a Billing Specialist, reporting to Dalila Garay, Director of Operations. Prior to joining Carisk, Madisson worked as a temporary employee in the Carisk Miami office.

Lydia Willis is the newest member of the Call Center, reporting to Crystal Cottrill, the Director of Customer Service.  Lydia most recently worked in the Financial Services industry after a long career as a Legal Assistant.  In her role, Lydia will be responsible for working with Nurse Case Managers, Claim Adjusters, and Patients for the scheduling of diagnostic testing as well as processing of the associated workers’ compensation and auto claims.

Yasmeen Wilson joined Carisk as a Payment Poster, reporting to Karina Araujo, Supervisor of Accounting . Yasmeen began her Carisk career as a temporary employee and because of her exemplary work has been hired on a full-time basis.

Maiivah York joins Carisk as a Mailroom Coordinator reporting to Rachel Browne, the Director of Claims and Office Operations.  Maiivah’s background includes customer facing positions in the retail and medical office environments.  In her role at Carisk, Maiivah will be responsible for supporting the printing, sorting, and processing of all mailings including outgoing bills with attachments. 

Finance:

Lori Terraciano has returned to Carisk as a Staff Accountant.  Lori previously worked in the Accounting department for over 9 years where she assisted with accounts payable, receivable and payroll.  Lori will report to Karina Araujo, Supervisor of Accounting. 

Clinical:

Stephanie Drennan joins Carisk as a Care Manager for Carisk’s Behavioral Health DCF division reporting to Jennifer Branham, Sr. Director, DCF.  Stephanie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Tehrapist with 14 years of Behavioral Health Expertise.  She is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and Quality Supervisor in the state of Florida.  Most recently, Stephanie was a Clinical Director of a Family Services Agency, and Adjunct Instructor at a local college and ran her own therapy practice.  Her responsibilities in her role include UR and clinical assessment and authorization of all admission requests and ongoing medical care for the Carisk DCF business.
